Study Leave for Senior High School ALTs

Study leave is known as "tokkyuu" (special leave) in Japanese, and as of February 2007 will not be granted to senior high school ALTs under any circumstances.

This is official Board of Education policy, and will be included in the 2007-8 ALT contract. Some ALTs have received study leave for various purposes in the past, but this will no longer be possible. Please use paid leave if you would like to take time off work.
